Universal abstraction of nature
A remote, three channel video projection project with new wave Korean musicians, Noreum Machi on their new work Heoteun Sori: Corea until Now presented on February 27 at the National Theatre Of Korea. It was my first international project since Covid and a very refreshing collaboration, seeing again through the world’s eyes and a reminder that making large scale live art works is pure hard work! Also the challenge of thinking conceptually about the state of another country I visited six years ago, director Kim Ju-Hong suggested I manipulate images from nature that were universal to represent contemporary Korea.
